This type of news are the ones showing that even top Internet marketing experts and gurus can have a failure, this time John Reese the marketer that made over one million dollars in one day in from of a huge crowd in a one of his seminars just announce that he is shutting down his blog traffic exchange service called BlogRush, a viral blog marketing tool that he created back in 2007.

John develop a big launch campaign for this blog promotion tool, I even announce the launch and a test project of the viral marketing tool on this blog to see its traffic generation potential by myself. Many other bloggers had a lot of bad feedbacks about Blogrush, but most of those bloggers were geeks, and we all know that geeks don't like marketing or business related blogs or sites, that's why their feedback about a marketing tool or product has no value for me or many smart online entrepreneurs.

Fail The Test.

Like a said before I put the service to the test in two of my sites, and the results were very similar, I notice that the service had a lot of loop holes, and only high traffic blogs were able to really reap the traffic benefits from the tool. Leaving most new or low traffic blogs with no chance to use the service successfully, and actually it hurt their them because you were licking you hard work traffic to other blogs, gaining almost nothing in exchange. Other problem also were:

2.- If you just starting out with Blogger, make sure that your URL includes your main keywords in it, forget about adding small words that have no value for search engines like: A, for, and, etc... Just use them when your main keywords are already taken.

3.- To make it easy for you to find a good domain name that has your keywords in it try the keyword without spaces and with spaces if the other one is already taken, for example: "yourmainkeywords.blogspot.com" or "your-main-keywords.blogspot.com".

4.- After setting up your blog you need to put an analytic system in place so you can get web traffic data that you can use to improve your site and to know where your visitors are coming from and what pages are they going to. So, provide articles that people will really love to read with a little sprinkle of key phrases.

11.- Don't copy or duplicate other people's content, write your own quality original articles that provide useful tips and facts that will help you build a readership and give you an edge on your competition on natural search results.

I actually gave one of this blogging tips on a comment at one vlog post (video blog) by Darren from ProBlogger titled "How To Come Up With Topics To Write About On Your Blog", there is some good tips on his video about finding topic ideas on your traffic stat data, which I will talk on part 2 of this blog series. Today I want to give you a quick tactic I use all the time to find good traffic generating topics, that can help you say good bye to writers block... Personally I don't like when I get into mind set, it's completely unproductive.

To make money online blogging you need to generate high targeted traffic to your blog and build trust and rapport with your blog readers, the only way you can do that is by providing quality content that is relevant to their interest. That's why avoiding writers blog is essential for bloggers... specially if your are blogging for money.

Here are a few ways to find blog post ideas that can help you created new content starting today:

1.- Search for top keywords on your niche or by the categories you cover on your blog. Now take some of the keyword phrases you haven't write about yet and search for their long tail this way you can create a good list of ideas to cover each category. Writing for the long tail will help you gain top ranking on search results for most of those keywords.

2.- Go to your favorite search engine and do a search for any of your blog categories you want to write about, then look for article covering the topic, read some of those article and see if you can add your own point of view to the content, or if you can write a better article about the subject.
