Internet Marketing Plan Add Ons

By Luis Galarza - Internet Marketing And Make Money Online Tips.

Is Never Too Late To Make Some Changes And Include This Add Ons To Your Internet Marketing Plan!

I going to be talking a lot about having a Internet marketing plan for your business, simple because is one of the most important part of your business plan, plus having one will help you follow a path for each strategy that you want to use to promote your products or affiliate programs online. So, do yourself a favor and write a quick plan that outlines the tactics or methods and what you want to achieve with each of them, do this before you start any online advertising campaign, business or venture, and if you already started without one, is never too late to start writing one.

I'm writing this today because I was checking some of my consulting clients marketing plans and they have a good layout of some of the strategies that they are going to put on practice, but this plans were missing some strategies that need to be part of any Internet marketing plan don't matter what niche or industry are you in.

You need to remember 2 things. First, there are a few online marketing methods that never went out of style and effectiveness, off course this tactics are more advanced or more mature now, but they still the same basic principals, which are keep working like any other. So, don't believe any one who tell you that some type of Internet marketing method is now dead before doing your own research. The second thing is that cyberspace commercialization and socialization is always in evolution, making some all channels less effective and obsolete, because new more improve channels and tactics were created. Now, no all new web tactics and tools are good... so, how you know which one are good or better? Well, my friends, do what I do... follow what's popular between consumers and entrepreneurs.

Yes, my friends is that simple, just follow the consumers and hang out where they do. A quick example that shows you that this tactic work is YouTube. YouTube open the opportunity for anyone with a video camera to express themselves and become famauos, and people just loved it, and now you see millions of web users uploading videos on YouTube, them entrepreneurs saw that this is the new hot channel that can be monetize by uploading there videos, then other business people press the copycat bottom by launching there own YouTube look alike video sharing site... then Google make a huge jump on the market by purchasing YouTube, which in that time was the number one social video sharing on the web.

So, you see it works! Let web users set the path for your next tactic or venture, they know better.

7 Affiliate Marketing Mistakes That Are The Kisses Of Death For Beginners

By Luis Galarza - Internet Marketing And Make Money Online Tips.

Have You Experienced The Kisses Of Death? Avoid This 7 Affiliate Marketing Mistakes And You Never Will!

There are many affiliate marketing mistakes that keeping beginners from achieving maximum success online, I actually wrote other articles about this in the pass addressing a few of this kisses of death, I talk about some of this errors in my "Affiliate Marketing Tips" post, but today I want to talk about some of the mistakes that can kill your chances to earn an affiliate commission right from the start.

There are many things you as Internet marketing beginner can learn from top online marketers, not just from there successes, but also from their errors... errors that sometimes in the eyes of a beginner can look like the right marketing tactic to fallow, and the problem is that their are not good tactics. The thing is that many top online marketers don't have the time to follow every single good strategy that can increase there sales, instead they relay on the fact that now they have a bigger customer base, better online reputation, and a large list of hot opt-in prospects that they can leverage and turn into a good amount of monthly income. Some of them really learn from there own mistakes just like Mike Filsaime and his venture partners when they over promote new product launches to there email list of prospect and customers, which make them money but also increase the opt-out rate of their list. Then he wrote a small report called "The Death Of The Internet Marketing" where he talk about his bad marketing experiences. The fact of this is that Internet marketing didn't die, Mr. Filsaime and his launch partners killed it for them self not for us.

Don't get me wrong, Mike has a few good traffic products, and marketing training material that is worth the money in gold, like "The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript" and InstantBuzz... but, that report was just an stupid excuse to rebuild his list, not to provide any quality. Now I don't recommend any body to sign up for his email list, because he doesn't teach you anything except for how to right good email promotions, because that's the only thing you are going to get from him, sale offerings. The best Internet marketing newsletter you can subscribe is the IMC Marketing Tips Newsletter.

Here are the 7 affiliate marketing mistakes that are the kisses of death for beginners:

1.- Using Ugly URL's.

2.- Not Tracking Your Traffic.

3.- Not Keeping Your Affiliate Programs Information Organized.

4.- Forgetting That Tracking Conversions Is More Important.

5.- Not Cloaking Your Affiliate Links And ID's From Commission thief's.

6.- Not Keeping A Record Of Monthly and Yearly Statistics For Reference and Measuring.

7.- Not Having A Clear Affiliate Marketing Plan Before Starting Your Venture.

Yes, I know simple, but direct to point, these are very risky mistakes that you as a beginner need to avoid.

Research In Motion and Nike continue torrid growth, show no slowdown

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) and Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ: RIMM) are 2 of the Top 20 Innovators of The Innovation Index.

Research In Motion Quarterly Revenue rises 107%, Quarterly Net Income zooms 116% year over year.
RIM Revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 was $2.24 billion, up 19% from $1.88 billion in the previous quarter and up 107% from $1.08 billion in the same quarter of last year. The revenue breakdown for the quarter was approximately 82% for devices, 13% for service, 3% for software and 2% for other revenue. During the quarter, RIM shipped approximately 5.4 million devices.

Approximately 2.3 million net new BlackBerry(R) subscriber accounts were added in the quarter. At the end of the quarter, the total BlackBerry subscriber account base was over 16 million.

Net income for the quarter was $482.5 million, or $0.84 per share diluted, compared with net income of $412.5 million, or $0.72 per share diluted, in the prior quarter and net income of $223.2 million, or $0.39 per share diluted, in the same quarter last year.

Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 ending August 30, 2008 is expected to be in the range of $2.55-$2.65 billion. Net subscriber account additions in the second quarter are expected to be approximately 2.6 million. Earnings per share for the second quarter are expected to be in the range of $0.84-$0.89 per share diluted.
Nike delivers yet again, and stays with the high growth trajectory.
For the fiscal year, Nike revenues grew 14 percent to $18.6 billion, compared to $16.3 billion last year. Net income increased 26 percent to $1.9 billion, compared to $1.5 billion last year, and diluted earnings per share increased 28 percent to $3.74 versus $2.93 last year. For the fourth quarter, revenues increased 16 percent to $5.1 billion, compared to $4.4 billion for the same period last year. Fourth quarter net income increased 12 percent to $490.5 million, compared to $437.9 million in the prior year, and diluted earnings per share increased 14 percent to $0.98, versus $0.86 last year.

Future Orders

The Company reported worldwide futures orders for athletic footwear and apparel, scheduled for delivery from June 2008 through November 2008, totaling $8.8 billion, 11 percent higher than such orders reported for the same period last year.
Bottomline:

Both RIM and Nike are showing no slowdown from the U.S. economy. Both provided cautious future earnings outlook to account for potential slowdown in their U.S. earnings; however, the Wall Street analysts reacted to this realistic outlook gravely, and posted negative sentiment about the same. Both companies are still growing strong, and even their outlook shows solid top line revenue growth. RIM in particular slightly lowered the future net earnings owing to higher marketing costs attributed to launch of new products. Nothing unusual. However, the analysts are always seeking the smallest sign of weakness, and blowing it out of proportion. Nike also talked about weaker growth in the U.S. markets. And the same thing. Analysts reacted negatively to this. And their negative comments caused these stocks to go in a free fall, and even helped the market go down (it did not help that oil hit $140 a barrel). Both innovators are showing strong growth, and are not slowing down any time soon. Perhaps these Wall Street analysts need to get real, and revise their estimates in line with the U.S. economy and its impact on the global economy. I applaud both RIM and Nike management to provide conservative outlook. In time, the analysts and the investors will realize that both these companies are real gems, and will repeat the strong revenue and earnings growth. For now, the smart investor will get ample buying opportunity for these two top innovators.

(Ad)Word of the Day: Ad Variations

Did you know that we have an AdWords Glossary? It's a great resource for learning more about AdWords; so we're starting a new series here at Inside AdWords entitled (Ad)Word of the Day. Each post in the series will cover one term in the glossary and talk a little bit about it.

For our inaugural post, we'll start with ad variations:
Ad variations are multiple versions of an ad for a single product or service, all based on the same set of keywords. Variations are a good way to test many versions of the same message to see which works best with potential customers.
One advantage of using ad variations is that AdWords can automatically show the best performing ad. If you are not sure which message will work best with your potential customers, you can simply create multiple ads for an ad group. AdWords will automatically show the best performing ad more often over time.

We hope you've enjoyed the first part of our new series. If you have suggestions for words you'd like to see, we're always listening at inside-adwords@google.com.
