Magic secrets revealed, but magic will never remain the same!

I believe in magic! do you? well, we all believe in magic even knowing beyond those tricks the magicians do there are illusionary objects and techniques that help professional magicians perform magic on stage. It is simply for entertainment and shows how we have given the privilege to the magician to fool us! ;) But all along, like any of you i was oblivious to how they did it and so i believed, until lately. I guess now not only me but the world is aware of the secrets behind magic now. Last year i had watched a program on AXN which was tittled 'magic secrets revealed' and was shocked at the truth! actually though we all know what we see is what is not, yet we believe, right? and thats why magic shows are loved by its audience, but i wish curiosity was let to linger on our minds so that we could have creative things to ponder about like "how did the magician cut through the girl, or how did a bus disappear into thin air, or how is the sadhu(Indian yogis) levitating!!??"... we all know it now but wish the secrets were never allowed to be out, for magic will never remain the same again. YouTube users call the masked man who demonstrates the magic secrets as 'mean' which he is to great extent! Don't you also think so?

I guess many of us also wished we could perform magic in front of our friends but how can we excel in the art of performing magic? practice, practice and practice... i will post about magic tricks for kids on my 'pregnancy and parenting' blog soon.

If you are a parent then am sure there is one factor which deliberately arouses excitement, enthusiasm and tensed emotions in our minds and that is, when it comes to shopping for your kids! Like many other moms i am one indecisive mom too when it comes to shopping for my kids because every time i come across the latest products, i feel like grabbing every every piece off the shelves. For example: Aryans potty.. he never used that too because the color wasnt right for him!

This is not only about choice or the right decision but about finding the right product which is more important than just color and design. Vote for my younger sisters favorite television star Hannah Montana

My 13 years old younger sister Amanda is an extremely avid fan of the celebrity, Miley Cyprus. I'm sure everybody knows her? She is well known amongst the kids wide world and she is none other than, Hannah Montana the teen that stars on the kids channel nickelodeon on television. When my sister had come home for the Christmas vacations, i couldn't believe her transformation from a little girl into a lady. Deeply influenced by the television star, she was singing and praising the star throughout her holidays. When we four siblings(Amanda, younger brother, elder sis and myself) got together to spend time talking and having fun, there were precious moments i will never forget when my elder sister recorded a 10 minute video while my younger sister sang and danced away in glee. She also used a mike which comes with a mini piano keyboard set and my younger brother handled the music on the keyboard impressively. I wish i could show it to all of you but the video is quite huge in size and can't be uploaded here!! We had so much of fun that day and since that day, my kids and myself have turned into Nickelodeon addicts too! Amanda had even recorded messages like "As soon as I step on that stage, nothing matters. I don't think of it as work. It's just so much fun"... those were the messages she tried to imitate and a lot more. So sweet of her, we still listen to the messages while she's away at school.

Play doh is a wonderful tool to enhance the kids creativity

Few months back when my hubby went to madras, he bought back gifts for Aryan and Alisha as i mentioned in my earlier posts. A barbie for Alisha and Play-doh for Aryan, who loved playing with play-doh all the time. I remember he was overjoyed with his new gift and Alisha too. It was her first time, she saw she could mould the doh into any shape and started baking roti on her little rolling board and pin! haha.. she made colorful parathas for us that day:).. Aryan got busy creating ears, hair, teeth, eyebrows, eyes etc with the tools he got in the set and created a very funny clown, and a man with the longest moustache, which he took all over to show off his skills:)

The doh is a very creative tool for kids, to boost their creativity, but its warned that kids dont put the doh into their mouth and parents have to monitor that while the kids play. Its not recommended for kids below 3, but i didn't mind Alisha playing with it as i guided her and never left her alone. They created houses, animals, flowers, and lots more and i was a happy mom, they got something to keep them busy for hours! or else they made too much noise:)

Its a a non-toxic colorful(different colors) modeling clay compound similar in texture to bread dough, and has a sweet fragrance smell(these days) which usually children could mistake for sweets/food. Can be found in different packs, with diffrent creations and colors. Be careful while your kids play, for it can cause choking hazzards, and this is a strict warning to parents.
