Happy Birthday to my little sister, Amanda!

Miss my sister baby sis Amanda(Mandy) who turns sweet 16 today and wondering what shes doing today as she might be celebrating her birthday at the boarding but i wont be able to wish her, coz when we are not even able to meet her, talk to her, or even share sisterly affection being so close yet so far... i wont be able to wish her but on this day i would like to tell her to reach for the stars, never settle for less, and live life to it's fullest.. i'm sad i cant wish you but i did dream about it which means I live reality in dreams, strange but true... we'll be together some day, and we'll make up for all the sisterly love, and fights we missed...and want her to know i'm thinking about her and that i love and care for her... :) :(

The day isn't over so i wish you dear sis, Happy Birthday once again... God bless you Mandy, may you pass out of school with flying colors and i wish you all the happiness of the world... i'm happy for you, even though your are away and i miss you so much and i keep remembering your childish habits and love for dance, and music like me, but you've got to study hard and reach new heights we'll all be proud of... its a whole year since i've met you and dying to see you again... we might be away from each other but you're always in my heart, in all our hearts... we share a bond that nothing can sever, always remember this... i know one day we'll be reading this together and i want to say, i still remember how i danced in the middle of the fields in school on this day many years ago when i heard of your birth! i was overjoyed coz you were what i always wanted, a younger sis, and dint get peace until i saw you for the first time on reaching home from school... Alisha resembled you as a baby! you both looked like Chinese dolls, pink, chink and chubby, and i see you in her when i miss you but i need you sis! So be good, girl, study hard and stay away from trouble... i hope your day was filled with lots of love and laughter... take care, from all of us here :-)

It felt like a vacation, meeting up with my family after a long time..

My sisters baby on her 5th day on being born and first day at home. She was a 8th month old premature baby then.. and will turn 1 month of the 5th of August. Cute little sweetheart she is... :-)

This month was almost like a vacation traveling within my own city. My dad was down to my city to spend some time with us and to see my sisters first born and so it was like i spent lots of time with them, at my sister's place and at my dads too. So i can say we all met up, my whole family, my dad (his new family), my sister and family and my hubby and kids too. You all probably already know my sister gave birth to her first new born on the 5th of July which i had posted earlier and how i spent my days caring for her baby. I was back home but barely a day passed, and i couldn't resist jetting back to her home again when my dad was down, so that speaks for all the neglecting of the posts and blog visiting friends.. ;)

I enjoyed the whole time with all of them but i missed being online as much. Once logged in, i found a great number of pending tasks from social spark, and other paid review sites plus i lost a lot of tasks from the same sites too which made me see my $$$ down the drain, but never mind, it isn't anything like spending time with family. It was worth the while observing each ones smile and knowing deep within each one had something god has given then in their deserving time.

It was one big vacation right here in our city itself. I know people travel out of city for vacations but am satisfied vacationing within mine.. hehe.. If i travel for about two hours, to and from our homes, i feel am stressed out and can't bare the traffic and pollution in my city. Even on long tours and vacations i guess traveling feels stressful but the amount of fun and happiness one obtains from the family meeting especially if after long periods or gaps always makes up for the stressful traveling and when its me who feels content here.. no complaints at all.. hehe..

Vote for my younger sisters favorite television star Hannah Montana

My 13 years old younger sister Amanda is an extremely avid fan of the celebrity, Miley Cyprus. I'm sure everybody knows her? She is well known amongst the kids wide world and she is none other than, Hannah Montana the teen that stars on the kids channel nickelodeon on television. When my sister had come home for the Christmas vacations, i couldn't believe her transformation from a little girl into a lady. Deeply influenced by the television star, she was singing and praising the star throughout her holidays. When we four siblings(Amanda, younger brother, elder sis and myself) got together to spend time talking and having fun, there were precious moments i will never forget when my elder sister recorded a 10 minute video while my younger sister sang and danced away in glee. She also used a mike which comes with a mini piano keyboard set and my younger brother handled the music on the keyboard impressively. I wish i could show it to all of you but the video is quite huge in size and can't be uploaded here!! We had so much of fun that day and since that day, my kids and myself have turned into Nickelodeon addicts too! Amanda had even recorded messages like "As soon as I step on that stage, nothing matters. I don't think of it as work. It's just so much fun"... those were the messages she tried to imitate and a lot more. So sweet of her, we still listen to the messages while she's away at school.
