Too funny, I keep finding time to write on this blog. Because I'm clear headed and have my day organized, so not like usual. And have energy to do such as this....love it!!!
Last night hubby commented that I'm just so much fun the past couple of days. I'm wittier, because I'm not just an exhausted sludge who can't think her way out of a paper bag.
I have thought this over too. Is there an additive to the juice that makes me feel more energetic (truely I'm edging on hyper, I need to exercise some of this energy off). If caffeine was added, I would be crashing at least an hour after taking the juice shot, which I'm not. If there was a time released drug I think I would still have hourly rises and crashes. I've done 24hr cold medications that were time released and would feel the anti-histamines kick in every hour. The nicotine patch, same thing. I was on Fluvoxamine for 8 years due to the anxiety. Those were also time release and again I would notice when the "dose" kicked in. I do believe that the energy is purely from the fruit and sea vegetables that the juice consists of. I also feel that my body is able to metabolise the nutrients easily and that is why I feel so great now.

Day 9
I've been getting some emails asking me questions of "how will this juice work in such and such a situation", and I would like to state here that I am not an expert on Youth Juice. I've been using it for, as of today, 9 days. I am writing this blog to track my personal experience with this product! I can only comment on how I feel with using it, I cannot guarantee results for anyone else. If you like what you are reading and think you would like to try Youth Juice I can help set you up, but for medical questions and what kind of results can you expect, I can't say.
I will say ~ if you try Youth Juice and feel it works for you like it's working for me, you will most likely be extremely happy with the results. It all comes down to, if I didn't like the results I'm getting this blog would have shut down pretty quickly.
On another note, my skin color has continued to improve, today I'm wearing a bright red lipstick that I had to stop wearing (my complexion had gotten so sallow that it clashed). Woo hoo!

The MLM nature of the business and Robert T Edwards
I have been reading archived newspaper articles regarding Robert T Edwards because as co-founder and president of Youth Juice, and as past founder and president of Fundamerica, his name is up there when people think of scams. My interpretation of Fundamerica is it was like DirectBuy, you pay for a membership and you get discounts for stuff.
Unfortunately, it appears that Fundamerica was set up so that if you could afford to buy multiple memberships you could get paid more (cite: http://articles.latimes.com/1990-08-12/business/fi-1191_1_neighbor-couple-invested). Moreso, if you could talk your downline into buying multiple memberships that would get you a directship and therefore garner a higher percentage of commission off their purchases.
I cannot find anything that explains that part clearly enough, except that was the reason why the state of Florida ended up charging Fundamerica and Edwards with fraud.
The state of California did investigate the company in the late eighties and did not proceed with charges because they found nothing illegal going on (cite: http://articles.latimes.com/1991-04-26/business/fi-673_1_pyramid-scheme).
I could continue citing stuff but I have spent a few hours reading through articles positive and negative. I have seen it stated that the charges against the company and Edwards were dropped but I am unable to follow up with actual news reports on that as of yet. The best source so far is the LA Times but articles only go up to 1994. I'll keep looking because I'd like to know how the events played out.
BTW, I don't know who Shawn Noonan is and I have not found him on the excutive of Youth Juice. His name comes up with multiple postings of the same negative blog post (which is uncredited),on blogs which are usually selling a market rival of Acai or colon cleansing products. Hope that makes sense! It's one post copied and pasted to multiple other blogs. Sidenote: Taking a post from one blog and reposting it to your own is supposed to help up the blog in Google ranking because it increases traffic to the reposter - they are essentially riding on the coat tails of the original poster who did all the work in the first place....anyhow...
I'm back as to why I am writing this blog. The above happened 20 years ago. I am using a product that he is selling because I am feeling it working, not because I believe I will get rich by getting 20 or 50 or 100 people to buy it too. If you choose to use this product, it is because it works. If you choose to go with me to set up your account and be on my "team" so be it. I don't have time to "pilot" a Youth Juice team, I have an awesome friend who can do that and I can set you up with her if you wish to sell Youth Juice actively. I have my own sales team of AVON reps that I spend my spare time working with, I will not be asking anyone to go out and sell Youth Juice. If you want to sell AVON, certainly contact me and I'll get you started with training.
So there's my thoughts of the multi-level marketing aspect of Youth Juice, and my current research on the co-founder's history.

Later Day 8
I believe I have mentioned before that I have anxiety disorder. I was diagnosed with anxiety and OCD soon after our first child. I have gone on medication, completed a successful run of cognitive behavioral therapy, and have been maintaining living with panic attacks for years now. The past few years the panic attacks had gotten much worse.
Over the past two years I have been deliberately exposing myself to stessors to minimize the panic. It worked to a degree but I did hit one day where the panic wouldn't go away. I felt weak and dehyrated. I grabbed a small bit of food, because I realised I hadn't eaten properly and stayed in bed for the afternoon, just continually grabbing small bits to each and constantly drinking water. It worked, the panic went away as my blood sugar went up.
With that result, I have begun to focus on what my body tells me it needs and by supplying that, I have made the panic almost non-existent. This is where I began drinking water regularly and making sure my blood sugar didn't drop with snacking.
Over the past year my life has gotten busier with my AVON business running so successfully. The snacking has gained me weight, and finally ended up being not enough. The vitamins I was taking was also not enough. I was craving fresh vegetables and fruit, but it wasn't enough. With drinking the YJ over the past week, I have lost that lowest level of anxiety that I always carried with me. My back muscles have already released most of their tension. I think I have found the perfect vehicle to deliver what my body has been crying out for. Wow, sounds melodramatic but this is how I feel, soooo cool!!

Day 8
Still feeling energetic after yesterday being a long day. I had to get up at 6am yesterday morning and got through the day easily. I did some shopping for the cafe where I work and hauled around two bags of flour at one time, six jumbo tins of beans, stuff like that, without even a single tremor afterwards.
I am truely physically stronger. I'm used to feeling faint from deep breathing. I felt faint at Pilates and had to just keep focusing on not falling over. I can easily flip my head up fast now and not feel faint. Has the juice improved my blood pressure or something? I have always had low blood pressure, it would go up to 90/60 when I was pregnant. I should probably go in and do a blood pressure test, that would be interesting!
Today is another 6am wakeup, I'm thinking I will keep this up after having to do so because of the time change coming up.
