Followers, Blogs, and Things

I think it is important to acknowledge people... and although it isn't customary to do this on blogs, I like to do it.

Google Followers:
DUIB (Defend Us In Battle) now has 57 Google followers!

Feedburner / RSS:
We also have lots of new Feedburner/RSS readers! WELCOME! We are now over the 100 reader mark. (When Feedburner doesn't act up and say that we only have 22... does that mean a bunch of people aren't receiving the feed?)

Facebook:
We also are up to 346 facebook fans! That's awesome! I don't know how affective facebook fan'ing is for blogs, but I do try to link a post or two over there everyday; just not sure what that does? Spreading content around can make some stuff get lost in the shuffle.

Twitter:
We are around 280 Twitter followers! This is probably the best way to "Follow" the blog because anytime I post, it automatically tweets an update. Plus I can update that nice and easy. Facebook is good... but everyone uses facebook in different ways, so I know that blogs, and "Pages" can get lost in the shuffle.

Other Blogs:
I have added some blogs to my sidebar, and have tried to clean up some things on the blog. I am always trying to make the blog "better" for readers... and for my own sanity; please let me know if you have suggestions.
Some of the new blogs are:

• Day by Day In Our World: A Catholic Family Blog - Written by a TAHM (Teach at Home Mom)- Great Homeschooling content. This blog is also part of the Alaska Catholic Blog contingent.
• The Escape: A Catholic Family Blog as well... one I have read for a while... but haven't listed until recently.
