*Bread* of Christ?l

I went to Mass today with my in-laws. Their parish is one that has seen a lot of liturgical abuses over the years, due to many things (enough for a post on its own). However, over the past year the parish has had some great strides toward the proper celebration of the Mass. The new priest, although a bit older and not really in the position to take a hard stance to change everything at once, the Church finally has the Corpus back (after a 30 year absence), the consecration is once again valid, and wicker baskets have been disposed of in favor of the proper gold ciborium. Although some things are still in (hopefully) transition; such as the glass chalice, the altar in the center of the church, and no kneelers.

So perhaps I am being picky, but I was extremely bothered when I approached for the Holy Eucharist, the Eucharistic Minister (who happened to be a older [about mid to late 50's] woman) presented Our Lord as "The Bread of Christ". Now, I am no theologian, but this struck me as very wrong. I didn't do anything at the time, because I was not at my home parish, and didn't want to cause a scene. So I didn't address it. But I did decide to do a little web surfing. It seems as though the USCCB would prefer EM's to not deviate from the proper form of "The Body of Christ".

I was very conflicted at the time with whether to approach either the EM or the priest and bring this to someone's attention, especially since I wasn't entirely sure whether it was proper, and because I was not at my home parish. Now that it's said and done, my question to you is: Do I at this point bring it to someone's attention, or are there more important things to address first when it comes to liturgical abuses?
