Even though doing nothing is worse than doing something, in network marketing how you approach your possible MLM business leads can make or break your business. Here are 3 things you should avoid doing.
Cold calling should be avoided at all cost. Honestly, how interested are you when some stranger tries to pitch you a great opportunity or product over the phone. Mostly during those very few hours you do not have to work and can finally relax. They do not know you so they do not care about you, let alone your business opportunity. If you are going to use the phone to generate more MLM business leads, make sure you only contact people who are interested in you or your opportunity.
Handing out flyers is not only bad for the environment, you will hardly generate any new MLM business leads this way. Most people accept a flyer out of politeness, glance at it (if that) and throw it away seconds later.
As a network marketer you have better things to do with your time and money. You are better off going to a marketing convention, talking to other marketers one on one and handing out business cards.
