Great Thoughts While Flying...

One of the good aspects of long flight delays is that you have time to think... Lots and lots of time to think...

I've done a lot of thinking this week ;-) (4 hour delay from Chicago to Detroit, 4 hour delay from Nashville to Austin)

Pictured to the left is the result of getting home at midnight instead of at 8 pm.... on the last leg of my journey I had (what I thought at the time) some new and amazingly insightful revelations on the Theory and Practice of Process Oriented Programming.

In case you can't tell from the picture... I jotted these intensely meaningful thoughts down on an airline barf-bag.

The founders of Compaq sketched their first design for a portable computer on a napkin... and that napkin was featured prominently in their early advertising campaigns.

Somehow I don't think my barf-bag is destined for the same treatment ;-)
