It Pays to be a Pack Rat

Take a look at this auction: (click here).

Wonder where this seller got these items to sell? The seller happens to be, ahem, moi, and these items were found in a basket in my vanity. Without getting into the, uh, personal details, I’ll just say that these come with another product that I buy. Instead of throwing out the excess of this item, I just toss each one into a basket and save them. When I accumulate enough to make listing an auction worthwhile, that’s exactly what I do.

Cost to me: $0. Final bid: $16.50. After ebay fees: all profit.

Here’s another example: (click here). Not all empty printer cartridges bring $5 apiece on ebay, but this model does. When I accumulate five of them, I put up a quick BIN (buy it now) and they sell within a day or two.

Do some ebay research to see what your empties, or maybe something you have in a basket under your sink, are worth. You just might be glad that you’re a pack rat like me.
